AeroSafe

Engineering Senior Design Project

During intubation procedures air particles from the patient are released into the surrounding environment and expose healthcare workers to infectious diseases such as COVID-19. To combat this problem, my Engineering Senior Design team and I designed AeroSafe, an active barrier that would monitor the risk of infection and effectively reduce the quantity of SARS-CoV-2 airborne particles released during the intubation procedure. After various design reviews, reports and presentations, our team was able to prototype and test AeroSafe.

Music Reactive LED Lights

Arduino Class Project

As the final project for my microcontroller class at UC Davis, a classmate and I were given the task tot design a system using an Arduino to meet an identified need. With a budget of $30, my partner and I designed an LED light strip to follow the beat of music playing based on the sound of the music.

Otoscope

SolidWorks Class Team Project

​

For the final project of the UC Davis CAD course, I was teamed up with four classmates to create part, assembly, and drawing files within SolidWorks to make an otoscope. The otoscope’s performance was evaluated by using SolidWorks Simulation to perform test analysis.
